Seems like there's a ton of cool young LGBT folks in Park Slope, but we always have to commute to the city or Williamsburg to meet each other. But central brooklyn - Park Slope, Boerum Hill, Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, Prospect Heights, Flatbush - has its own vibe, and some really great places to hang out, and Park Slope is the center of it all. So, why not hang out with each other here? [Also, while I don't want to be the 'age police' or 'card' anyone (I think the 'honor system' works much bett …
I've lived in Park Slope for three years now and I would like to meet some new folks! Happy hours, late night 4th Avenue pub hangs, Bar 4 dance parties, bell house shows, this group is going to grow and evolve. Looking to keep it local (i.e. all slopers, north, central and south!) Boerum Hill, Prospect Heights and Gowanus friends are welcome, too! As of right now, I'll try to organize events, but please feel free to post them and get the word out to friends. The more the merrier! If this group g …

This is neighborhood get together for Kensington, Park Slope, and Windsor Terrace in Brooklyn NY. A way for people to meet up in their neighborhood, or near by. I created this group, because I myself don't really know many people who live in my neighborhood. It seems like all the people I do know, lives on the other side of Brooklyn or in Queens. We live near Prospect Park, and with the warmer months coming, and it would be great to get together.
Meet other people who work from home or are otherwise at home weekdays at lunchtime. Working from home is terrific, but don't you also miss the social life of a busy office where lunch is often the high point of the day? We can bring our virtual office together to enjoy some conversation over a salad, pizza, white fish salad, burrito, sushi and any of the other foods Park Slope has to offer. We are busy individuals so being able to pickup some lunch close by in the neighborhood is important.
NOTE. Before requesting membership, please post your picture to the profile so that the group members could recognize you at our brunch meetups. As the name says, this group is for anyone interested in Brunch in the Mid-Brooklyn (Park Slope, Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, Prospect Heights) area. We've been doing this for about a year and a half and have met some great folks and found some fantastic brunch spots. Click that red button and join the fun!
Welcome to South Slope Social! ...or Greenwood Heights, Windsor Terrace, South Greenwood Terrace or whatever your broker called our lovely little enclave when you moved to the area. For those in the know, this neighborhood is home to some pretty amazing drinking holes, dive bars, cocktail paradises + fabulous food. Join our Meetup Group to savor …
[To foster group camaraderie and accountability, this Meetup requires that each member/pending member have a photo and first name on their Meetup home page.] I have been living in Carroll Gardens for 12 years and used to live in the Park Slope area. I no longer want to commute into Manhattan on weekends for socializing (however, I can't get my Manhattan friends to come here!). Let's all stay in Brooklyn to socialize and make some new friends while we're at it! There are so many great places …
Wing Chun Gung Fu in Park Slope! The group is for any and all people who enjoy getting together with others and playing games such as Cranium, Taboo, Wits & Wagers, 25 Words or Less, Dominoes, and Slide 5, among many others. Most of the time we will meet in the Park Slope area, but people from all over NYC are welcome. We look forward to meeting board game newbies as well as players of all levels.
We want to gather a community of easy-going people in the Park Slope area to play a friendly game of soccer, and head off for a pint or two at a nearby drinking establishment afterwards. Men, women and people of all playing levels are welcome.

If you like to practice your Spanish with cool folks, this group is for you! All levels welcome. And totally free!! We'll try to stay in central brooklyn - Brooklyn Heights, Park Slope, Fort Greene, Boerum Hill, Carroll Gardens, anywhere off the main train line at Atlantic, 7th Ave, etc. But why commute to manhattan, or pay fees, if you live or work nearby? Why not just practice Spanish here? There's no instructor here, but the facilitator is B1-2 in the Institute Cervantes ranking system, bas …
I've been living in South Slope & working in the city for over a year now, and still find it difficult to meet people to grab drinks with after work in Brooklyn. I'm hoping to find some like-minded young professionals to stop off at new spots with on our way home! Will try to make meetups start around 6 or 6:30, just in time to grab a few before heading home. All Park Slope, South Slope, Greenwood Heights, Gowanus, Sunset Park, Prospect Heights & all surrounding area residents welcome!! Plea …
Join us as we workout with our babies AND have free playgroups in the park. As long as the weather is nice, we'll meet up and let the kiddos run around (or lay around) and chat with other neighborhood moms. Stroller Strides® is a total fitness program that moms can do with their babies. It includes power walking and intervals of strength and body toning exercises using exercise tubing, the stroller and the environment. Taught by certified and specially trained fitness instructors, it is a great …
Greetings. If you're looking for a fitness trainer and group that will keep you motivated to exersise and that meets outdoors in Prospect Park before work, this is it! Our certified trainer, Alan, will do more than motivate you to get you where you want to be fitness wise but will help you learn more about why certain things work and why others don't so you can be discriminating about your exersise regime going forward on your own as well as give you a wealth of information on nutrition and sup …

I have played pick up soccer my entire life and l still do. Recently I discovered soccer leagues such as ZOG, NYC Coed, Urban Soccer, etc... and what I like about them is that you will consistently play and meet a lot of people. Pick up can be hit or miss depending. With that said I am looking to join the two, which results in Underground Soccer NYC, which is an affordable social futsal league. $250 per team, 4 to a side (5-8 to a team), no goalies, size 4 futsal ball, on a fenced in basketball …
I thought it would be a great idea to start a group willing to ride their bikes to an unknown destination and exercise for 30 mins on a Saturday morning. There are so many parks and locations to choose from throghout New York City. I plan on meeting everyone at the main entrance by the circle of Prospect Park in Park Slopes Brooklyn at 8 .am. sharp. We will arrive back between 9:30 or 10 a.m. or just depart from the workout location. The riding destination will only be given to those who ar …
